Odell Beckham to have sports hernia surgery after the season

"Yes, the next one ... the story from FOX's Jay Glazer that Beckham definitely wants out of Cleveland and has told players and coaches from other teams 'Hey, come get me".

Two sources confirmed to Yahoo Sports the report Sunday that Beckham has told players and coaches on opposing teams to "come get me" during game-day encounters in October as a possible trade route out of Cleveland during the offseason. He has scored just two touchdowns in 13 games, with 59 catches (tied for 32nd in the league) for 844 yards (25th).

It wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing win, but the Browns beat Cincinnati on Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium 27-19 and improved to 6-7, keeping their playoffs alive for at least another week.

Beckham has been dealing with the injury for most of the season - his first with Cleveland - and plans to play the final four regular-season games before undergoing the operation, said the person who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation. He is not able to run as well as he should be able to as well as he knows. It wasn't handled the right way in our training room.

Mayfield later explained on Twitter he didn't mean to throw the Browns' training staff under the bus, and that he answered it emotionally after a hard-fought win.

"I think he is helping the team", Kitchens said. "He wants to be out there for his teammates and I like him to be out there for his teammates. He's been doing a good job of getting prepared during the course of the week to get to the game on Sunday". Kitchens replied, when asked about it. I replay: "Kids, I'll let you know when he does something".
