Samsung’s NEON Project Will Revolutionize Digital Media World With Realistic Human Avatars

In a series of tweets, the Samsung subsidiary announced that Neon would be unveiled at the CES 2020, and debunked many people's theory that the project is related in any way to Bixby, the tech giant's designated virtual assistant. He took to Twitter all by the tip of the week to share the precept take a gander at Neon, a computerized picture that may sometime change into the cell phone or PC companion we've been hanging tight for.

Judging by the photos and videos showcasing the technology, Neon appears to be an advanced chatbot attached to a lifelike digital avatar.

On Dec. 16, 2019 (Monday), startup company STAR Labs began posting GIFs teasing something called "Neon", a project which they would later reveal as an "artificial human".

"NEONs will be our friends, collaborators and companions, continually learning, evolving and forming memories from their interactions", said Pranav Mistry, chief executive of the lab. What this means is that each NEON is a unique and individual Artificial Human, and at no point in time can it be an exact copy of a human.

Neon could represent Samsung's next effort in artificial intelligence, although it is unclear how it will interact, or not, with Bixby. This artificial human being the real human kind of response and expression gives.

Neon is powered by Samsung's Core R3 (Reality, Realtime and Responsive) platform, which uses neural networks "extensively trained" to mimic how real people behave.

The release further informed that "SPECTRA, which is still being developed, will be used along with CORE R3 to introduce qualities of Intelligence, Learning, Emotions, and Memory to the Neons, making interactions with them completely immersional".

"Neons are more like us, an independent but virtual living being, who can show emotions and learn from experiences". According to STAR Labs, this could be a reality in the future, whenever that is. R3 offers nearly instantaneous responses to any queries or conversational topics. STAR Labs will also talk more about this project at an event called NEONWORLD 2020, which will take place later this year.

Scenarios shown on our CES booth and in our promotional content are fictional and simulated for illustrative purposes.

We have always dreamed of such virtual beings in science fictions and movies. We truly believe NEONs will integrate with our world and serve as new links to a better future, a world where "humans are humans" and "machines are humane".

He composed that Neon's manifestations may be valuable whenever sent out in the open to welcome customers or visitors. As of now, the beta launch of NEON is scheduled in 2020 and Star Labs has laid out plans to provide it to a few business partners and consumers.

According to Neon website, The CORE R3 also ensures the integrity of data with state-of-the-art protocols.
