New Black Widow Trailer Properly Introduces Taskmaster!

Black Widow also stars Oscar nominee Florence Pugh as a sister-like figure to Johnansson's Natasha Romanoff, and well as Oscar victor Rachel Weisz.

Black Widow is set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, and starts with Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) on the run from global authorities after betraying her allegiance to the Sokovia Accords.

Marvel Studios dropped a special look of Black Widow which is nearing its release where Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow can be seen in the midst of a mission as she clashes with a masked villain.

And we do mean that literally. But now Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow has finally gotten her own film. Therefore, it'll show us more of Nat, but in a completely new setting where the Avengers aren't around - or at least aren't on speaking terms. For years there were rumors that a Black Widow film starring Scarlett Johansson was in development but was kept at bay to due studio politics and other factors at Marvel Studios. Seriously... WTF happened in Budapest?!

Marvel fans who are looking forward to the upcoming Black Widow film got a special surprise this evening if they were already tuned into ESPN for the College Football National Championship. What did you think about the new Black Widow trailer?

David Harbour as Red Guardian also makes an appearance in the trailer alongside his family. This antihero character can mimic the moves of his opponents, something that becomes clear at the end of the clip, where he's mirroring Nat. Until then, check the new trailer below.

Directed by Cate Shortland from a script written by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, Ray Winstone, Olivier Richters, and Rachel Weisz.
