Billie Eilish Drops New Bond Song No Time To Die

Billie Eilish Drops New Bond Song No Time To Die

The track was co-written and produced by her brother Finneas O'Connell. Yesterday afternoon, the singer dropped a thirteen-second preview featuring a piano melody that seems like the flawless intersection of Eilish's style and a classic Bond banger.

Eilish, who was announced last month as the featured artist for No Time to Die, is coming off of a massive Grammys sweep last month. The track from the upcoming 25th Bond film will be her first single of 2020.

Throughout the history of the James Bond franchise, the most popular and interesting music artists of the time have often been recruited to pen and/or perform each film's main song. With Eilish's inventive style, the Bond essence may be there, but in a completely original way.

During his same interview Rami Malek did tease that "there is a resurgence of an Ian Fleming influence on this film", meaning that No Time to Die will have a deeper connection to the original novels.

During the chorus she sings: 'That I'd fallen for a lie. I am a huge fan of Billie and Finneas. / There's just no time to die'.

The 18-year-old When We All Asleep, Where Do We Go? singer premiered the song on Thursday (February 13) ahead of the film's release. "Their creative integrity and talent are second to none and I can not wait for audiences to hear what they've brought - a fresh new perspective whose vocals will echo for generations to come", added director Cary Joji Fukunaga.

Are you excited to hear Billie Eilish's full version of "No Time to Die"? Since we last left the superspy, he has left active service and is enjoying a quiet existence in Jamaica. His peace is cut short when his old friend from the CIA Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) shows up asking for help.

Daniel Craig as James Bond.

No Time To Die will be released in the United Kingdom on 2 April 2020 and 8 April 2020 in the US. They're tasked with the rescue of a kidnapped scientist, but the mission turns out to be far more unsafe than expected as a mysterious villain armed with risky new technology is thrown into the mix, played by Rami Malek.
