The Strokes revealed animation clip and announced a new album

Taking place on February 19th, at The North London venue, the show will probably be a chance to be the first to catch new music from the band.

Casablancas isn't one of rock's chattier frontpeople, but he ended the New Hampshire performance with a massive scoop.

Julian Casablancas, diva of The Strokes, facility, executes after Democratic governmental prospectSen Bernie Sanders, I-Vt, talks at a project quit at the Whittemore Center Arena at the University of New Hampshire, Monday, Feb 10, 2020, in Durham, N.H.

The anticipated announcement of the new album has been long awaited by fans and based on the songs performed, they will not be disappointed. Earlier in the week, the band posted a silent video teasing what appears to be the record's title, The New Abnormal.

As well as playing old hits like "New York City Cops", the band also debuted two new songs - "Bad Decisions" and "At the Door" - according to Entertainment Weekly.

At the end of their performance, Casablancas said "Oh yeah - album's coming out April 10th".

Along with the song The Strokes released an animated clip, filmed by Mike Burakoff (who has previously worked with MGMT).

"We are honored to be associated with such a dedicated, diligent, & trustworthy patriot - and fellow native New Yorker! That's why we support it".

Casablancas and his bandmates have been hinting at a new project titled "The New Abnormal" in recent weeks, with guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. sharing a Basquiat-inspired artwork along with the caption "You think you've been waiting⁣".
