Yuvraj Singh hits back at people trolling him for helping Afridi’s foundation

Yuvraj Singh has responded to the criticism he has faced from within the country for urging donations to Shahid Afridi's charity foundation, which is working against the ravages of the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan.

India's cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh may have stuck more than a nerve when fans took to social media by storm following the duo's support for former skipper Shahid Afridi's foundation.

In his post, Yuvraj Singh jotted that in the midst of such testing times, people should be helping each other, mainly the ones who are less fortunate. Lets do our bit, I am supporting @SAfridiOfficial & @SAFoundation in this noble initiative of covid19. "Pls donate on #StayHome @harbhajan_singh", Yuvraj tweeted. The 40-year-old has been donating food, disinfectant soaps, masks and other amenities to the needy. Fortunately enough, a separate hasghatg #IStandWithYuvi was also created in favour of the two.

Yuvi added, "I'm an Indian and I will always bleed blue and will always stand for humanity. Didn't see a single tweet or message from you to donate for PM Cares or India", commented a user on the micro-blogging site. "Guess its time to cancel their names out of "People who inspire List".

Harbhajan, too, was at the receiving end of wrathful fans for extending his support to Afridi's foundation via a tweet two days prior to Yuvraj's tweet. In fact, ShameOnYuviBhajji had been trending on Twitter after the news went viral.

Recently, Yuvraj Singh revealed that the most memorable times of his cricket career came under Sourav Ganguly and that the former left-hander's support was unparalleled, something which he never experienced under MS Dhoni or even Virat Kohli. We hope that we have succeeded by giving you the full details and information.
