Giannis Antetokounmpo's Meeting With Bucks Ownership Gets New Details

Milwaukee will offer Antetokounmpo a supermax deal worth 35% of the Bucks' cap - somewhere between $220 million and $250 million over five years based on the new salary-cap figures. It is also being noted that the Bucks intent to speak to Giannis again after he takes a well-deserved vacation.

For now, it looks like Antetokounmpo will stay with the Bucks as he told reporters that they had to look to get better during the off-season as individuals and as a team to be a bigger threat for the next season. "I plow through it", he said. We're going to keep working.

Coach Mike Budenholzer, who has two years left on a four-year contract, is expected to return after leading the Bucks to a 116-39 record over the past two regular seasons before untimely exits from the playoffs. He has unfollowed swaths of people in the past and has at times temporarily deleted his accounts - something that happened for four days in January after Bryant's death.

They certainly don't want to make a similar mistake with Antetokounmpo.

Despite his firm promises about staying in Milwaukee, Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was sending mixed messages over the weekend. The Bucks are keen on building a strong team around Antetokounmpo and are expected to bring in a lot of new faces for the next season.
