NM tallies no virus deaths, just 81 cases

No further deaths related to the coronavirus have been reported today, but 208 new cases have been confirmed in the State.

Officials reported of 793 confirmed cases now hospitalized, 35% of which are in intensive care. Over the past two weeks, an average of about 501 patients per day have been hospitalized with COVID-19, with the number falling steadily since late July.

The Kane County Health Department reported a total of 12,188 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 325 deaths Monday. The county's testing rate per 1,000 people was 223.4.

No new outbreaks were reported in health-care facilities, and outbreaks at Holy Family Hospital, MSA Manor long-term care facility, Czorny Alzheimer Centre long-term care facility and George Derby Centre long-term care facility were been declared over.

Pennsylvania's rate for positive COVID-19 tests was about 4.2% as of Friday.


There are 1,594 active cases of COVID-19 in the province and 5,446 people who tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered. 11 through Sep. 13.

On Friday, B.C.'s health ministry announced through a written statement that 132 additional cases had been added to the province's tally.

Johns Hopkins University, which has been compiling COVID-19 data from all over the world, put India in the number one position in terms of the number of recovered coronavirus cases at 37,80,107, followed by Brazil at 37,23,206 cases and the United States at 24,51,406 cases.

Starr County has a total of 2,948 people who have recovered from COVID-19, and 146 have died due to COVID-19.
