Cardi B files for divorce from Offset after 3 years of marriage

Cardi B and Offset are calling it quits on their marriage.

Cardi B is apparently over her marriage to Offset - she just filed for divorce.

Cardi B reportedly filed divorce papers today in Georgia.

We will update this story as more details come out. According to online records viewed by Yahoo Entertainment, the "WAP" rapper filed paperwork in Fulton County, Georgia on Tuesday - and the split doesn't appear to be amicable. HollywoodLife has reached out to representatives for both Cardi B (née, Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar) and Offset (née, Kiari Kendrell Cephus).

According to court documents, Cardi claims the marriage is "irretrievably broken" with "no prospects for a reconciliation".

The filing also states that Cardi, who's listed as the petitioner, "shows the Court that she is a fit and proper person to have legal custody of the minor child with final decision-making authority over legal custody matters, and to have primary physical custody of the minor child". She also wants Offset to pay child support - unclear how much though at this point.

She also makes clear in her docs that they're now separated, and there's no hope of working things out.

The couple married in a private ceremony in 2017. They recently celebrated their daughter's second birthday with a lavish party in LA back in July.

Cardi's songs with Offset and Migos include the songs "Clout" and "Drip". The documents also include that Kulture has been living with her mother. Hollywood Unlocked was first to report the news.
