Senator Lindsey Graham Illegally Solicits Donations At A Federal Building

Senator Lindsey Graham pleaded for campaign donations after the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

Graham has been a veritable gaffe factory during the homestretch of his surprisingly competitive election with Harrison - who has raised an unprecedented amount of money in his bid to unseat the shape-shifting GOP politician.

"There is no way you'll ever convince me that Amy Coney Barrett is not qualified using any reasonable standards of qualification". "I will do my best to continue down the path charted by Senator Grassley of having a fair and vibrant committee process".

So, in his defense he was just answering the question ... although we would argue he should have chosen his words far more carefully.

'I want to assure the people of SC: that statement was made with dripping sarcasm, ' the senator added.

"Somebody could make that argument, yes", Barrett replied.

Same-sex marriage has nothing to do with polygamy. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) for voting for Justice John Roberts.

Roberts wrote: "Although the majority randomly inserts the adjective "two" in various places, it offers no reason at all why the two-person element of the core definition of marriage may be preserved while the man-woman element may not".

Lindsey Graham stretched his lead over Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll.

Adrienne Lawrence, an attorney and the first on-air ESPN personality to sue the network for sexual harassment, pointed out that while Barrett had answered Graham's polygamy hypothetical, she had declined the previous day to say whether the president had the authority to delay the election.

Graham said Harrison's attack was "not worthy of the times in which we live" and "not worthy of an assault on me", Politico reported.

At a debate forum last week, Graham said, "If you're a young African-American or an immigrant, you can go anywhere in this country".

"I've made sure you had a chance to test her".

Five-Thirty-Eight's poll tracker shows the most recent poll, released Friday, reflecting exactly what Graham's funding plea says: Harrison ahead, 47 to 45%.

Democrat Jaime Harrison is essentially tied with Sen.
