TikTok Star Loses Almost One Million Followers After Posting 'Rude' Video

The 16-year-old social media star has lost more than one million followers since she posted a YouTube video earlier in the week, in which she whined about not having 100 million followers.

In the clip, which was announced to be the first in a series called "Dinner with the D'Amelios", Charlie, her parents and her 19-year-old sister Dixie, who also has a substantial 43.8-million fanbase on the platform, were joined by fellow TikToker James Charles to be served traditional Spanish paella by May.

The TikTok superstar, during an Instagram Live stream Thursday, broke down crying and asked her followers to watch their words. Their dad thought it was mushrooms, but Dixie thought it was snails.

Some viewers took issue with the sisters' behavior, accusing them of being "disrespectful" and "rude" towards the chef in the video's comments section.

Forget fancy dinners with escargot. there's a ton of free chicken nuggets waiting to be scarfed down by Charli and Dixie D'Amelio! He further explained that they expected the sisters to react, which is exactly what happened. "At the end of the day, I know I am a good person with a good heart and I will never change that about myself. If you were friends with me and you're not anymore, keep my f-king name out of your mouth, bitch". "I feel like it's not that hard, and you can say whatever". Death threats because she's a picky eater & made a joke about a milestone?

Charli D'Amelio (L) and Dixie D'Amelio arrive at iHeartRadio's Z100 Jingle Ball 2019 at Madison Square Garden on December 13, 2019, in New York City.

"Blatantly disrespecting the fact that I'm still a human is not okay", she said in a clip captured by a fan account.

D'Amelio had noted she was just a million followers away from her goal of 100 million on the social media platform.

"My team knows I throw up a lot", she said. I throw up at the smell, the thought or the taste of anything.

In August, Forbes released a list of TikTok's seven highest-earning stars and both Charli and Dixie made the cut. So, when they saw the snails, they were like, 'Oh, let's get her and try to see if we can get a reaction out of her.' ... "I love the chef and I would never disrespect him in any way", concluded the dancer.

Notable creators on TikTok commented on the video at the time including Quen Blackwell, Tana Mongeau and James Charles, who commented: "Get her".
