Atlantic Broadband - the eighth-largest broadband provider in the in the US - this week launched their "WiFi Your Way™' whole-home Wi-Fi service in partnership with smart home and Wi-Fi optimisation leader Plume". The Deco Voice X20 product page states that "Alexa Calling, Messaging, and Announcements (ACM) features may not be available in early shipments, and users will need a subsequent firmware update". The Archer AX96 and Archer AX206 are both tri-band routers, but because they aren't mesh systems, that 6GHz band is free to connect with individual devices. Meanwhile the new stand-alone gaming-style Archer AX96 (AX7800) delivers 7800 Mbps of speed over eight streams.

This range also includes the Archer AX90 which is a standalone tri-band router with Wi-Fi 6 and identical specifications to the Deco X90.

Another product introduced by TP-Link at the CES booth is HomeShield security application. The Deco X96 and Deco X76 Plus are both tri-band systems, and they'll use the new 6GHz network as a backhaul to communicate between router notes. Plume has during the past couple of years been probably the fastest growing startup in the smart home space and is easily one of the most innovative as well as most strategically adept tech startups in existence today.

Other key features include AI-driven mesh and seamless roaming. Its Smart Antennas establish a strong backhaul to boost coverage and improve wireless connections. 1× 10 Gbps WAN/LAN SFP+ port, 1× 10 Gbps WAN/LAN port, and 1× 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port enable ultra-fast 10G networking for studios and Ethernet enthusiasts.

The 6 GHz band spans 1,200 MHz giving Wi-Fi 6E compatible devices access to multiple high-bandwidth 160 MHz channels at the same time which will be much appreciated for anyone jumping on the 8K TV bandwagon. TP-Link claims this device will come with "unstoppable" transmissions and "eradicates" latency. Auto-negotiation for 100Mbps/1G/2.5G/5G/10G connections provides optimal performance, while its durable metal casing and desktop/wall-mounting design are well-suited for many environments.

5G Whole Home WiFi 6 Gateway (Deco X80-5G) - Tapping into the power of 5G, the Deco X80-5G Whole Home WiFi 6 Gateway, available in select worldwide markets, delivers unrivaled performance, increasing download speeds up to 5.0 Gbps, or 33-times faster than 4G. Its whole home Deco mesh technology ensures strong WiFi signals everywhere.

For more niche shoppers willing to go all out for next-generation internet speeds, TP-Link has also developed the AX7800 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6E System, or Deco X96.

The new Linksys AXE8400 Wi-Fi 6E Mesh Program is a mesh procedure that will yield rewards for homes with equally Wi-Fi 6e products and non-Wi-Fi 6e gadgets alike. The slightly lower spec Deco 76 Plus (AX5400) runs at a top speed of 5400 Mbps for a maximum of 150 devices, TP-Link says. The Deco ISP Cloud is an integrated, cloud-based network solution for ISP remote management.
