The story focuses on how Federal Bureau of Investigation informant William O'Neal (LaKeith Stanfield) infiltrated the Black Panthers to get close to Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya). Oscar-bound drama Judas and the Black Messiah.

Lakeith Stanfield, Daniel Kaluuya, Jesse Plemons, and Martin Sheen star in this biopic drama-thriller about the Federal Bureau of Investigation infiltration of the Illinois Black Panther Party, led by Fred Hampton. A film that mirrors the current global civil unrest surrounding race inequality, "Judas And The Black Messiah" is based on the true events surrounding the betrayal and assassination of Hampton, chairman of the IL chapter of the Black Panther Party in the late 1960s.

In the new trailer, Daniel Kaluuya, who plays Hampton, tells his followers that uniting against oppression is the best way for progress. The film, which was originally set to open in August 2020 before COVID-19 shut down theaters and upended the release schedule, is positioned to use the festival to launch into a strong awards season push. A career thief, O'Neal revels in the danger of manipulating both his comrades and his handler, Special Agent Roy Mitchell. Will he align with the forces of good?

Dominique Fishback as Deborah Johnson and Martin Sheen as Federal Bureau of Investigation director J. Edgar Hoover also star. "Judas and the Black Messiah" will be released by Warner Brothers in theaters on February 12 and also be available starting then on HBO Max for 31 days.
