Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has received stable One UI 3.0 update

The Samsung Galaxy M31 is the first budget device from the South Korean company to receive the Android 11 platform upgrade. Android December 2020 security patch is also another important feature that you get in the latest version of the OneUI 3.0. Weighing over 2.4GB, it is now rolling out in South Korea but the OTA (Over The Air) update should expand to other regions soon. The tablet supports LTE, WiFi 6, and features Samsung Wireless DeX capability.

Like on the predecessor Tab Active2, the Galaxy Tab Active3 also includes other key features such as a replaceable battery and military-grade ruggedness-with protection against conditions such as extreme temperature, dust, vibration, high altitude and submersion in water as deep as five feet.

Now that Samsung is nearly done seeding Android 11 to its flagship smartphones, the company had turned the focus on its flagship Android tablets.

The Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy M31 is 407.62MB in size. As expected, the Galaxy Tab S7 series is the first to get the big update. Samsung's official Android 11 update roadmap shows that the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ will start getting the update in March 2021. The changelog shared on the community forum says that some apps will be need to be updated separately after installing the One UI 3.0 update. Samsung has also made UI changes to streamline the menus, allowing for a more seamless navigation experience.

Samsung has been diligently following its Android 11-based One UI 3 rollout schedule and has even surprised us with a few early updates. The OTA update will automatically reach Galaxy M31, though users can check its availability manually by heading to Settings Software update.
