'Bachelorette's Clare Crawley, Dale Moss split

'Bachelorette's Clare Crawley, Dale Moss split

"I wanted to share with you all that Clare and I have made a decision to go our separate ways", Dale shared in a statement via Instagram on January 19.

"I get so emotional because this time is precious and I know means everything to both of us, especially as her mind is slipping away and her body is getting weaker". They are mainly in disagreement over lifestyle preferences.

The Bachelorette contestant added, "We strongly believe in leading with love and always remaining true to oneself - something our families have taught and instilled in us throughout our lives".

For the time being, Clare has yet to release a statement about the breakup, which makes sense as TMZ reports it was Dale who ended the relationship over the weekend.

"I'm so thankful to be able to see my mom in person now", Clare said, referencing how coronavirus had physically kept them apart for quite some time. "We only hope the best things for one another", he said.

From the very beginning, Clare and Dale's romance was met with skepticism. "She lights a fire in me that I was missing for so long", Dale told People in a joint interview with Clare late past year. After all, her season was set to begin production in March, with the cast members already confirmed.

Clare Crawley and Dale Moss celebrate getting engaged. Clare, for her part, stayed in her home in Northern California.

As we reported, Tayshia Adams replaced Clare during the last season of the show. Before first appearing on The Bachelor, she was in an abusive relationship.

"What I love about Dale is that he isn't scared about the future", Crawley told Rachel Linday and Becca Kufrin on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in November 2020. This led to two appearances on Bachelor In Paradise, but to no avail.

In a not-so-surprising turn of events, The Bachelorette alum Clare Crawley, 39, and her fiancé Dale Moss, 32, officially broke up after only a few months of dating.
