'Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning' heads to Switch on March 16th

The game will be released on Nintendo Switch this coming March 16.

THQ Nordic bought the IP in 2018 and released a remaster of it on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One previous year, and now Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 16.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning first launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in September 2020. However, in the coming months, THQ wants to create a new extension of the Nordic game, thanks to which it will further develop the theatrical offer and deliver some news to fans after a multi-year hiatus.

The new and improved version features enhanced visuals and some quality of life improvements over the original. The title was a hidden gem in its time, developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games and helmed by The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion lead designer Ken Rolston, the creator of Spawn Todd McFarlane, and best-selling author R. A. Salvatore. The RPG received favorable reviews upon release in 2012, and Re-Reckoning has been met with much excitement.
