Marilyn Manson Responds To Abuse Claims

Marilyn has denied the allegations and has branded them "horrible distortions of reality".

Singer Marilyn Manson was recently dropped by his talent agency after being let go of his record agency as well.

Wood previously spoke out years ago about being sexually assaulted but didn't name her abuser at the time.

A previous allegation of sexual abuse against Manson was made by an anonymous woman in 2018 over incidents dating back to 2011. "You and I have spoken privately about abuse for so many years and your bravery in coming forward to tell your story is powerful and so desperately needed by those who go through this and feel so alone".

Manson has been accused of abuse by several women, including ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood - as well as an artist known only as Gabriella, Ashley Walters, Sarah McNeilly, and Ashley Lindsay Morgan.

"He started grooming me when I was a teenager", she added on Monday in an Instagram post.

She added, "I stand with Evan Rachel Wood and all of those who have or will come forward".

The star went on to say she was revealing the identity of the musician because she is "done living in fear of retaliation, slander or blackmail", and noted, "I am here to expose this unsafe man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives".

In response to Wood's social media post, at least three other women shared their allegations against Manson.

Similarly, a spokesperson for AMC Networks shared that Manson's appearance on an upcoming episode of the anthology horror show "Creepshow" has been pulled from its upcoming season, and will not air.

Warner addressed Wood's claims in an Instagram statement of his own this week, calling the allegations "horrible distortions of reality". However, the segment was replaced and the singer was removed from the project. The singer was actually a pivotal part of "The Unseen" episode that aired on the premium cabler last night. The label released a statement confirming their decision to no longer work with Manson, saying how their partnership would end immediately. Postponed a week because of the Super Bowl, American Gods doesn't return until February 14.

Marilyn Manson is used to being in the news for controversial reasons, but the latest reports have been beyond anything that we've seen before. No final decision has been made yet.

Notably, Wood had filed a complaint against Mansion in 2018 of unspecified sex crimes. As The Hollywood Reporter wrote at the time, the district attorney declined the case, citing that the statute of limitations had expired and an "absence of corroboration", according to the court filing.

"As a domestic violence survivor who now advocates for victims in my role of California state legislator, I share a common trauma of emotional, psychological and physical control at the hands of an abuser". However, until today, she had never identified her abuser.
