Cuomo's top aide Melissa DeRosa reportedly subpoenaed in sexual misconduct probe

He then leaned down on top of me and while still holding one of my hands he forcibly grabbed my face with his other big hand and kissed my cheek, again in a very aggressive manner.

"Notably she didn't say my husband and I, or my family and I, only specifically me", she said. In an interview, Liss said she was "not claiming sexual harassment per se", but felt the administration "wasn't a safe space for young women to work".

The governor has denied any wrongdoing, though he has acknowledged it had been a "custom" for him to kiss and hug people when greeting them.

'He took my hand, as if to shake it, then refused to let go, ' Bakeman wrote of an interaction with Cuomo as she said goodnight at a holiday party in 2014 when she was only 25 years old. She said she turned away.

Jessica Bakeman claimed in a first-person article for New York Magazine that she was sexually harassed by Cuomo on several occasions since the start of her journalism career in 2012.

On his way out of the house, Cuomo called Vill handsome, she said, something that also made her feel uncomfortable.

In a February 10 meeting with state legislators DeRosa said the state feared releasing the data on nursing home deaths over concerns that the numbers would be politicized by former President Donald Trump's administration.

The letter was only addressed to Vill, who questioned why it wasn't addressed to her husband or son, whom the governor also met. The pair were alone together on the second level of the residence when the woman said Cuomo closed the door, reached under her blouse and fondled her before she told him to stop. Among her other allegations: Cuomo summoned her alone to his office after a holiday party and made what she took to be a reference to former President Bill Clinton's affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

The married mother of three added, "I know the difference between an innocent gesture and a sexual one. His actions were very overly sexual, highly inappropriate and disrespectful to me and my family".

Paul Fishman, a lawyer representing Cuomo's administration, said the subpoenas should come as no surprise in the probe. She says vill will be contacting the state attorney general's office, which is investigating misconduct allegations involving multiple women. The brief encounter allegedly also led to neighbors in town referring to Vill as "the governor's new girlfriend".

Sherry Vill says Gov. Andrew Cuomo kissed her inappropriately during a visit to her home in 2017 to survey flood damage. Vill said she declined because of her uncomfortable feelings after the May 2017 encounter. "I felt he was acting in a highly flirtatious and inappropriate manner, especially in front of my family and neighbours". "I never felt as uncomfortable as I did the day that Gov. Cuomo came to my home".

Andrew Cuomo is resisting pressure to resign following the flurry of sexual misconduct accusations.

Several New York lawmakers from both sides of the political aisle have called on Cuomo to resign amid his scandals, and impeachment efforts are ongoing as he refuses to step down.

The state Assembly is conducting a separate investigation into whether there are grounds to impeach the governor. Cuomo says both stories are false.
