Fully-vaccinated people may travel now: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

- Fully vaccinated people can travel internationally without getting a COVID-19 test before travel unless it is required by the global destination.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday that vaccinated Americans can resume travel domestically and internationally with low risk of exposure to COVID-19, as long as they wear masks in public.

"There's several new babies in our family and it's just killing everybody that we haven't been able to get together and to see them", she said.

Roger Dow, chief executive of the U.S. Travel Association, said the "new travel guidance is a major step in the right direction that is supported by the science and will take the brakes off the industry that has been hardest hit by the fallout of COVID by far".
