Covid vaccines have created nine new billionaires with combined wealth greater than the cost of vaccinating world's poorest countries, a recent report by the People's Vaccine Alliance has said.

Physicians in six public health units - Hamilton, Toronto, Wellington-Dufferin Guelph, Peterborough, Simcoe Muskoka and Peel - also distributed vaccines during the pilot.

Mr Morrison suggested last week fully vaccinated travellers should be exempt from hard lockdowns and internal border controls but most states have dismissed the plan. The symptoms also show up after the second dose about four days after vaccination, said the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices in a statement dated May 17.

The drive, which began on Sunday, May 23, is in collaboration with the authorities supplying doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine to schools across the emirate.

"Would two shots be enough or will it have to turn into a three shot regiment, so I think most people that I'm experiencing are excited just to say, 'we know if we get the two shots we're done, '" he says.

The news announcement said those who choose next week to book their second dose in the coming week, will be getting it at a 10-week interval period, and not the 12-week period which is considered an optimal period.

As 55,000 of the remaining doses are set to expire at the end of May, pharmacies said they can respond quickly.

"So for the vast majority, the recommendation would be to get the same vaccine as the second dose".

Noting that there have been "relatively few" reports of "mild" cases of myocarditis, the agency said that its COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Technical Work Group should investigate the matter and it should be communicated to vaccine recipients. That's significantly lower than the risk from a first dose.

"So it will really depend on, out of those 90,000 people, how many are actually going to want to get the AstraZeneca second dose early at the ten-week interval", said Bates.

The Epoch Times has contacted Pfizer and Moderna for comment.

A recommendation from NACI is expected in early June.

At least 66,000 Ottawa residents are waiting for their second dose of AstraZeneca.
