Blue Jackets Offered Little For Carter
The bids for Jeff Carter aren’t exactly bowling General Manager Scott Howson over.
According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, the Columbus Blue Jackets have received a single lonely offer for Carter thus far. And, although specific details aren’t available, apparently it was pretty crummy.
This doesn’t really mean all that much. With plenty of time left, we imagine the interest in Carter will ramp up closer to the trade deadline. The Los Angeles Kings, Calgary Flames and Toronto Maple Leafs are rumored to be at least somewhat sweet on the center.
With Carter having such a big contract do you think the Blue Jackets will get much if they are intent on moving him?
