Columbus Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky has been fined $10,000, the maximum allowed under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for boarding Los Angeles Kings defenseman Rob Scuderi in Columbus on Tuesday, February 5, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 11:29 of the second period. Dubinsky was assessed a major penalty for boarding and game misconduct.

The fine money goes to the Players Emergency Assistance Fund.
