ESPN.com’s Pierre LeBrun talked with a Calgary Flames source, and LeBrun concluded “there’s no appetite for an Edmonton-styl rebuild.”

T Flames will continue to tweak their roster to see if they can get over some proverbial hump, and the biggest question now is whether they’ll think about trading Jarome Iginla or Miikka Kiprusoff. Both players have to waive their no-trade clauses, LeBrun thinks it’s about time Flames General Manager Jay Feaster talks to these veterans about their future in Calgary.

If Kiprusoff goes on the market, it’ll be interesting to see which of the goalie-lacking teams will come sniffing. The Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning may be the most desperate for a netminder, but both clubs might explore younger, more long-term options first guys like Cory Schneider and Jonathan Bernier.
