The Nashville Predators weren’t looking to trade backup goalie Anders Lindback at the trade deadline, but he probably won’t last in Nashville beyond this summer. The big goalie is thought to have the ability of a starter so, the Edmonton Journal’s Jim Matheson wonders, “Could they get a second-round pick for Lindback before the draft?”

That’s the price the St. Louis Blues fetched for Ben Bishop, another larger goalie with a bright future. Teams that might be interested include the Columbus Blue Jackets,Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning.
