It appears the Detroit Red Wings will participate in the Winter Classic within the next two seasons at home.

MLive.com reports the organization expects to host the annual outdoor game in 2012-13 or 2013-14. The event would take place at either Comerica Park or Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
