According to the general manager of the Washington Capitals, veteran forward Mike Knuble isn’t going anywhere.

Stephen Whyno of the Washington Times reports George McPhee said the Capitals “have no interest in trading” Knuble. McPhee also expected the 39-year-old to play this weekend.

A healthy scratch for the Caps of late, the Sharks have been rumored to be interested in acquiring Knuble.
