Pat Hickey at the Montreal Gazette has the latest Canadiens notes:

  • Michael Cammalleri expects to return to Montreal’s lineup on Wednesday night from a lower-body injury. Cammalleri has been sidelined for two of the past three games with the ailment. He did practice on  Tuesday and the fact that Montreal hasn’t brought up a forward yet from the AHL indicates he will be ready
  • Carey Price will get the nod for Montreal on Wednesday night when Carolina comes into town.
  • Frederic St. Denis has been summoned from the minors. The Canadiens may not have Hall Gill (flu) and Jaroslav Spacek available to suit up for Wednesday’s match with Carolina, so the 25-year-old defender might get to make his NHL debut.
