Bob McKenzie reports via Twitter that the New York Rangers and Chris Kreider have agreed to terms on an entry-level contract.

Kreider, the Rangers first round selection in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, spent three seasons at BC, winning a pair of national championships, first as a Freshman in 2010 and again last weekend as a Junior. He also helped the United States capture a Gold Medal at the 2010 World Junior Championships while playing with Derek Stepan, and a Bronze Medal at the 2011 WJC.

This past season the 6-foot-3, 230 pound Kreider established collegiate career-highs in games played (44), goals (23), assists (22), points (45), and penalty minutes (66) while leading BC in goals and points. Boston College won all three Beanpot Tournaments in which Kreider participated in college, as well as three Hockey East championships.
