Salva Malamud reports (unconfirmed) that there is an offer of 3 years, $10 million per from CSKA for Alexander Semin‘s services.

It has been rumored since the end of the season that the KHL would be a threat for Semin’s services and while Semin’s American agent has maintained throughout that his client wants to stay in the NHL, it isn’t deterring KHL teams like CKSA Moscow. That’s the team run by Sergei Fedorov that recently signed Alexander Radulov to a four-year contract worth roughly $9.2 million per season.

Semin will have to take less money to stay in the States. There has been very little information coming out about teams interested in Semin but a couple that are, are the Detroit Red Wings, Carolina Hurricanes
