Teemu Selanne will talk to Anaheim Ducks GM Bob Murray over the weekend, according to the Orange County Register.

Selanne hasn’t committed to playing in 2012-13, but Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau sounds optimistic. “Indications are that I think he wants to come back, although I’m not 100 percent sure,” said Boudreau. “I’m still counting on him to hopefully be back. I can’t put thoughts into his head, but, if I was deciding not to come back, I wouldn’t be having a lot of conversations with my team and texting them good thoughts and ‘how you doing?’ that sort of stuff. I seem to be getting good vibes.” Selanne will turn 42 on Tuesday, but he still had 26 goals and 66 points in 82 games last season.
