• Vincent Lecavalier might pick his next team over the next two days, according to ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun. The Tampa Bay Lightning will buy out Lecavalier, who has reportedly talked to as many as 15 clubs. He is rumored to want to stay on the East coast, but it’s unclear which team might be the front runner. The Florida Panthers, Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins and Dallas Stars are all reportedly interested in Lecavalier, who is said to be asking for a five-year, $25 million deal.
  • Tyler Bozak‘s camp has presented the Toronto Maple Leafs with an eight-year offer worth less than $5 million per season, according to TSN’s Darren Dreger.

GM Dave Nonis has said he’d like to re-sign Bozak, but the Leafs also acquired Dave Bolland on Sunday as a possible replacement/negotiating leverage. Bozak had 12 goals and 28 points in 46 games last season.
