NHL Signing: Anaheim Ducks, Viktor Fasth Agree To A One-Year Contract
The Anaheim Ducks announced today that they have signed two-time Swedish Elite League Goaltender of the Year Viktor Fasth to a one-year contract.
Fasth’s deal is worth $1 million, a source told ESPN.com’s Pierre LeBrun.
The 6-foot, 192-pound Fasth was awarded Swedish Goaltender of the Year honors the last two seasons, becoming the first goalie to do since Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers did so with Vastra Frolunda.
Fasth posted five shutouts with a 2.12 GAA and .931 save percentage in 46 games with AIK Stockholm last season.
