The Los Angeles Kings Twitter is reporting that  the team has agreed to terms with Conn Smythe Winner and Vezina Finalist Jonathan Quick on 10-year contract extension.

The deal will begin after the 2012-2013 season.

Terms of deal were not disclosed. The contract can’t be signed until July 1 and will not take effect until the 2013-14 season. Quick will make $1.8 million next season in the final year of his current contract.

“We are very happy to have a long-term agreement in place with one of our top young players,” Kings GM Dean Lombardi said.
