Ryan McDonagh has officially agreed to terms with the New York Rangers.

The details of the contract haven’t been released, but an earlier report indicated that he’ll earn $28.2 million over six years. With McDonagh signed, the Rangers have locked up a key piece of their defensive core. However, New York will still need to come to terms with Dan Girardi and Michael Del Zotto next summer.
