NHL Signing: San Jose Sharks Expected To Agree To Terms With Scott Gomez Today
Scott Gomez is expected to agree to terms to become a member of the San Jose Sharks today, according to TSN.ca.
Gomez, who has been traveling with the Sharks and skating with the team for the past few days, became an unrestricted free agent last week when his contract was bought out by the Montreal Canadiens.
The 33-year-old played 38 games with Montreal last season, posting two goals and nine assists.
Prior to his three seasons in Montreal, the Anchorage, Alaska native played for the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils.
