NHL Trade Rumors: Phoenix Coyotes And Boston Bruins Discussing Keith Yandle?
Could there be a substantial deal brewing between the Phoenix Coyotes and Boston Bruins?
According to CSNNE.com’s Danny Picard, Massachusetts native Keith Yandle said he “would love to play for the Bruins”. The popular subject of trade rumors this summer, the Phoenix Coyotes defenseman would form a formidable pairing with Bruins star Zdeno Chara. And Picard suggests the Boston club could send forward David Krejci to the Coyotes in exchange. Yandle and Krejci have identical annual salary cap hits of $5.25 million.
However, fact of the matter is Yandle doesn’t have a no-trade clause. If the Coyotes stand to benefit from moving their No. 1 defenseman, the 26-year-old’s personal feelings won’t come much into play. The best potential offer from the Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, or another NHL club altogether will determine whether Yandle is traded or not.
