Josh Yohe via  Twitter reports the Pittsburgh Penguins are reportedly planning to go after Zach Parise if he hits the free agent market.

Since the Pittsburgh Penguins have traded Jordan Staal to the Carolina Hurricanes, they probably have enough cap space to present Parise with a competitive offer. Parise would certainly bolster the Penguins already scary offense and further cement their position as a powerhouse going into the 2012-13 campaign.
