  • Dmitry Chesnokov reports Columbus Blue Jackets forward Maksim Mayorov has officially signed with Ak Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League.
  • Hopefully my agent and Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli will talk and get something done,”  Chris Kelly told CSNNE.com. “I’ve made it clear I like it here and I’m not just telling you that. I really do like it here … I will always weigh every option and possibility. That’s my job as a player and as a guy with a young family. That’s my responsibility. But if we can get something done here then I’d like to stay here.”
  • Adam L. Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times suggests Mark Bernard (General Manager of minor-league affiliations), Mark Kelley (director of amateur scouting), and Norm Maciver (director of player personnel) are the leading candidates to replace Marc Bergevin who recently departed to take the vacant Montreal Canadiens General Manager position.
  • The Calgary Herald reports that Karri Ramo is expected to spent the 2012-13 campaign in the KHL. The Calgary Flames acquired Ramo’s NHL rights in January, but Ramo still has a season left in his contract with Omsk Avangard.
