NHL Signing: Los Angeles Kings Sign Dwight King To Two-Year Contract

The Los Angeles Kings signed forward Dwight King to a two-year contract, the team announced Monday. King, who turned 23 earlier this month, had 14 points (five goals, nine assists), 10 penalty minutes and a plus-3 rating in 27 regular season games in 2011-12. No Hearing Scheduled For Dwight King For Hit On Alex Pietrangelo

Jeremy Rutherford reports that it appears Los Angeles Kings winger Dwight King won’t face supplementary discipline for his hit from behind on St. Louis Blues defenseman Alex Pietrangelo. The Blues were upset that Kings only received a two-minute minor penalty for the check. Pietrangelo is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
