NHL Signing: Detroit Red Wings, Kyle Quincey Agree To Two-Year Contract

The Detroit Red Wings and defenseman Kyle Quincey have agreed on a two-year contract that will keep the sides from taking part in a scheduled arbitration hearing. NHL Signing: Colorado Avalanche Sign Steve Downie To Two-Year Contract Extension

The Colorado Avalanche announced the re-signing of winger Steve Downie today. A source said the two-year deal is worth $5.3 million in total. Downie ended the 2011-2012 campaign with 14 goals and 27 assits. Downie was traded to the Avalanche from the Tampa Bay Lightning last season for Kyle Quincey.
