Marc Bergevin Tapped To Replace Pierre Gauthier As New Montreal Canadiens General Manager

Patrick Roy will not be the next General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens. According to Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune, Pierre Gauthier‘s old job will reportedly go to Marc Bergevin, recent assistant General Manager with the Chicago Blackhawks. ESPN.com’s Pierre LeBrun confirms the Montreal Canadiens have relieved Pierre Gauthier of his duties. Canadiens President Geoff Molson will hold a press conference at 11:45 a.m. to discuss the move.
