Tim Thomas is “intrigued” by the Philadelphia Flyers but isn’t certain if he’s a good fit there, sources close to the netminder tell CSN Philly’s Tim Panaccio.

Thomas agent, Bill Zito, confirmed Monday that his client is interested in returning to professional hockey next season. The Islanders declined to toll Thomas’ contract, which will make him an unrestricted free agent, but it’s unclear where Thomas would like to play. The Flyers had interest in acquiring Thomas a few years back and currently have an opening after announcing Ilya Bryzgalov will be bought out. Thomas also reportedly will consider Europe if the NHL doesn’t offer what he’s looking for.
