The San Jose Mercury News reports that according to multiple sources, Todd McLellan will maintain his position as the head coach of the San Jose Sharks going into next season.

CBC’s CBC’s Elliotte Friedman reported that McLellan was told three days after the Sharks were eliminated from the playoffs that he would be back in 2012-13 behind the bench. The team is projected to be make changes to their assistant staff though, with former San Jose players Mike Ricci and Bryan Marchment being mentioned as possible replacements.
