Darren Dreger of TSN threw out some names in a tweet this week, that could replace Alain Vigneault as the new head coach of the Vancouver Canucks. The list included Dave Tippett, Lindy Ruff, Tom Renney, Guy Boucher, Paul Maurice, Scott Arniel, Dallas Eakins and Jacques MartinDoug Houda, Ron Wilson and Larry Robinson have also been mentioned as candidates in general this offseason, but not specifically for the Vancouver gig.

TSN’s Bob McKenzie suggests the Vancouver Canucks may want to interview a current assistant with the Los Angeles Kings. “One candidate who may get a look from VAN for head coaching vacancy there is current LA assistant coach John Stevens.”
