Bob McKenzie reports that Zach Parise won’t announce his free agent decision until Monday.

It makes sense and it also follows recent history. As you may remember, Brad Richards decided to sign with the New York Rangers, but didn’t make the verdict or at least didn’t make it official until the morning of July 2. Ilya Kovalchuk’s official decision took some time in 2010, as well.
